Whether you like Sushi Go! You'll find it's a fun and fast-paced game. And if you prefer the more tactile experience of rolling the dice to playing cards, you won't get much less by just going the sushi roll route. The game goes over three rounds, in each round you roll the dice and choose one. You can use a Snack Menu Marker to reroll dice or a Chopstick Marker to swap dice with another player's dice pool before choosing a die to place, but this is your turn limit. Each player is given a board showing what is shown on the six faces of each die and what they scored. This is exactly what happens with a lot of iconography that you might not be familiar with. But you'll get by with iconography and strategy. Great for adding to your game collection for light family play or as an addition to a game. I agree, the box with the game is too big; especially compared to the compactness of the Sushi Go! come in.
