Excellent quality but a bit expensive

I ended up buying 3 different brands of blocks for my little one. Despite being a brand I've never heard of, they were the highest quality of the three. photo attached. The quality is excellent in every respect. The machining is perfect, with a smooth ground surface and good, permanently bevelled edges. I know a thing or two about the paint and it looks like they used a paint system with one or more coats of clear coat that gives excellent gloss and durability. They are large and heavy enough to use on carpets with ease. Durability is also excellent; After a year of intense destructive testing by my little one, they still look brand new. These are my kid's favorites by the way. If we play along with her blocks, I can't use more of that type of blocks than she thinks is fair or she gets angry. It's pretty cute. The only problem with these blocks is the cost. The price per pack is quite high and you only get a third the number of blocks than most other brands. They're big, but you still need two packs to have enough pieces to play with compared to one pack of the smaller ones, further exaggerating the cost difference. On the other hand, they seem to last forever. So if you need a toy for your grandkids, two or three packs of these toys are a good choice.
