Needed to transfer photos to an ASUS tablet with a full version of Windows 8.1 with/on an Alcatel Jitterbug flip transfer phone. This phone has a camera, text messaging and iPhone photo sharing (haven't tried other brands) but no wifi/internet/email. Both the clamshell phone and tablet have individual mini-USB ports for data transfer and charging. therefore, both must be powered by battery power during transmission. After some research and questions I was told I needed an "OTG" (On The Go) cable so I decided to give this one a try. The cable works great. It has a handy end that says 'Host' and the male mini-connectors on either end are tight enough to keep devices plugged in. The phone's battery will be charged by the tablet while it's connected, so it's a good idea to fully charge both devices before connecting.
