I like the simple classic/fashion square buckle but not the fashion/casual one. Both formal and elegant, it pairs well with many different styles of traditional black footwear, whether styled with loafers or breeches. Monks will need to adjust the buckle, which will be the only exception. Easy to use and convenient to hang with a classic buckle, unlike hard boxes. The release lever would be more tear resistant than the buckle types. Ratchet straps are not suitable for tall individuals or for carrying heavy holster accessories as they are not as strong as simple pen loops. However, it's easy to adapt to situations when you're getting into a car, when your stomach is pressing hard on your belt, or when you're eating out. The locking spring is soft to the touch and the surface is matte, which doesn't indicate the highest quality, but it's good enough for office work. Not flashy, but not too boring either. I like it.
