Purchased recently. As a former radio station employee I became a podcaster, I wanted new gear but I didn't want to go crazy and spend too much money. I saw it and it seemed to have pretty good reviews so I decided to go ahead and buy it. It arrived very quickly and as soon as I opened the box everything was well packed in the foam cut outs and looked very nice. Setup was easy, I'm sure even a beginner will have no trouble. I just plugged it in and everything worked very well. It picks up background noise like the TV. So if you have a noisy home, be aware that you may need soundproofing or find better noise cancellation. Otherwise everything seems solid so far, works well and seems to be a good investment, especially for the price. One day I might fantasize and buy expensive equipment. But for podcasts I think it's fine. Make sure you save the box as everything will fit inside. If I run into any problems in the future, I'll be sure to work them out. For the price you really can't go wrong. Not sure what's up with other people saying they have the wrong mic cable? Everything here corresponds to the description and of quite good quality.
