As my tests showed this product failed to properly suppress flames and instead caused a lot of smoke. The only benefit was the lightweight and portable design. The major downside is that it cannot be relied on in an emergency situation .Overall, I would not recommend this product for anyone looking for a trustworthy, effective fireplace retardant..
