The main zip is very reliable and strong, the side zips are a little less durable, I've already broken one but I blame myself because this vest doesn't deserve hate. All the extra pockets are great because you can fit so many things in them and no one will notice half your closet is in there. It is very durable. I try to take care of him. The emphasis is on trying just because I'm hanging it up after remembering I threw it across the room three days ago. So yes, it's durable. If you look at this vest, simply grab it.
