I started my treatment about 2 weeks ago and this was my second application. I usually go to my dermatologist for a glycolic acid peel, but at $45 each (excluding my co-payment), I decided to look for a cheaper alternative. If you've never exfoliated before, I would look at your face prep and post-exfoliation/follow-up process. It is also important (as best as possible) to determine your skin type. I love the product and it works great for me. For my first scrub, I let it sit for about 5-6 minutes. I know it was longer than recommended but I wanted my initial peel to be deeper. After about 48 hours, slight peeling occurred and within 5 days peeling completely stopped. I noticed some light spots after the crusts came off. Once the scrub is applied it is quite strong so I would recommend not leaving it on for more than 3-4 minutes. Apply quickly as it dries quickly. Be careful not to apply too much to any particular area. I would start with the most problematic spots first. Be sure to use a neutralizer after exfoliating. Again, I like the results so far. Be patient! Do not expect significant results for at least 4-6 weeks depending on the extent of acne scars etc. Much luck!
