I'll start by saying I bought these for my dog. He is obsessed with frisbees and I had to find a replacement for my cheap promotional frisbees that I bought from the vet. They fit the bill, the $16 dozen seemed about right. When I took them out of the box I liked what I saw. They're a decent weight and fly well, but they're made out of hard plastic rather than the softer plastic found on some rims. As you know, the harder the object, the more fragile it is. These frisbees are no exception. The hard plastic is more prone to chipping than flexing and broke in half on one occasion due to my dog somehow bulldozing a catch. They will work for the next week(s) but I don't think I'll buy them again after they all broke. Discs compared to old reliable. You may be able to see how the old blue frisbee simply deformed as he caught and chewed it, while tending to chip or break completely.
