I've recently decided to become a pastry chef. I saw a video of a decorator using a bowl like this. I decided I must have some for several reasons. #1 - Cleaning is very easy, the glaze rinses off immediately. #2 You can squeeze the tip and pour straight into a piping bag or bottle. #3 are easy to grab with one hand as they are flexible. I haven't mixed glaze in bowls, they aren't big enough and I don't think the sides are thick enough to use a hand mixer in them. But they're perfect for dividing a batch of frosting into portions so the color can be mixed by hand.
