Review on MAXXIS Bravo AT-771 265/60 R18 110H summer by Wiktor Marciniak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

Excellent tires for city driving and hunting trips, moderate off-road riding. I thought for a long time whether to take AT or not, there were a lot of conflicting reviews, I drove Dunlop ST30 in the summer, I decided to switch to Maxxis 771. I will describe my feelings: the car did not become a roll, it was just softer, bumps and potholes in the asphalt practically disappeared, even if it was 70 km / h on the side of the road drop in, nothing changes. It had little effect on handling, but if it’s good to go into a sharp turn and go out on the gas, the front unloaded wheel slips. Puddles are going well. On a wet road, it stands confidently, there are no demolitions, although if you fly into a deep puddle, splashes fly onto the windshield. Noise has not increased, there is no howling, hum, as they say. Consumption is not yet clear. Off-road, a huge + for cross-country ability, I, without any drama, relaxed, drove to those places where I didn’t even think to poke my head on the ST30. I think it's perfect for our roads. True, for those who live in the center of Hong Kong and travel within 3 transport, without forays into off-road, it makes no sense. A huge plus is the appearance, although I think the white inscriptions will come off quickly, I will tint, I really like them. The size is not entirely clear, I think they are oversized - I took 235/65/r17, but at first I wanted 245/65/r17, ordinary 245 tires fit in and many owners put them equal. But the Maxxis 235e is almost the size of the calculated 245, the gap to the fender liner is 11mm, the 245e Maxxis, I think, would simply rest against a slight eversion.

Pros
  • Great tires, read the review.
Cons
  • there is no information on exact dimensions up to 1mm to measure whether the tire will fit into the arch
