Mid 1990's. This is a canvas item with one large pocket and one mesh pocket inside. It's big enough for me to fit pretty much everything I need in it, but after almost 25 years it's looking a bit run down. So I thought maybe it's time for an update - with this AULIV leather case. It arrived quickly (thanks Revane!) and it's a beautiful piece of leather - a really rich and tan shade. The stitching is perfect and it has a nice flat bottom so it stays where I put it next to the hotel sink. Its capacity is also large - fabric lining with four small side pockets. It can last as much as my old kit that is a quarter of a century old. However, he won't recycle my old doppler kit for this reason: it has a short zipper at the top, which means you pretty much have to empty everything down the sink when you check into your room to find anything. The zipper opens the top of the leather set but doesn't reach all the way to the sides, allowing you to see the contents without pulling anything out. It only exposes the top layer of your toiletries. Nice skin - well made but not very well designed.
