Works great with inline portable speakers
I used this subwoofer to replace a home theater subwoofer that was starting to sound like junk...this one fits perfectly in the existing box, no problems, nothing seems to have changed to have. I was concerned for the first few days as it didn't sound like it was going to work very well.... It was just a break-in period I guess. Now it sounds much better than the original speaker. excellent bottoms, tight bass without wheezing and distortion. I am very comfortable.
