This is a very good instrument. It stays nice and square. The main scale is accurate in both metric and SAE. The metric vernier scale is very accurate and easy to read. The SAE vernier scale is much more difficult to read. Several times two lines don't match and you try to count in your head. But even that is completely sufficient for woodworking. It feels good in the hand and, in my opinion, is quicker to set up than a combination square. The large locking handle is very comfortable to use. Very good as a depth gauge. Now listed as a 10" caliber, it can actually be used up to 8.405" or 213.5mm. So all in all I have to say that this marker scale really is dynamite. 5 Stars. Well done Ven.
