Review on RCA ANT121Z Durable Passive Indoor Antenna - Black: Enhance Your Signal Strength by Sean Maile

To be honest I only chose this antenna to try the HD terrestrial antenna. We're about 25 miles from the nearest transmitter in Houston, so we're in a very flat part of the world, but we're not close to the source. And I installed it in the middle of our living room on the first floor, near the middle of our brick house. I don't know where it's best placed. but I didn't have much of a choice given the layout of our house. So far the best I've been able to do is get one channel good and a few spotty. Might try it out on our second floor once I have the cable adapter (our second HDTV which we bought when we lived abroad and which antenna connector doesn't match what the RCA ANT121 came with. For 13 $$ I give it 5 stars because it seems to do what it's supposed to do As a novelty for us it works great If I wanted to cancel my cable subscription and switch to live it wouldn't work at all; I need something to get us with a better placement would give a lot more channels.
