This holster case performs exactly as I hoped it would. I've been using it for about a month and I'm impressed with the quality of the materials and the overall look of the product. I wear my iPhone on my belt. I work in a business environment so the look of what I wear on my belt is important to me. Attaching the holster to the belt consists of three steps. First, make sure the flexible mounting strap on the back panel is not latched (fully disengaged) and is facing down. Then slide the spring clip onto the belt where you want to place the holster. Finally, slide the flexible tether back up (under the belt) and attach it to the back of the holster. This combination of spring clip and tether allows for quick and easy handling of the holster, yet keeps the holster securely attached to your belt and prevents accidental tearing off. Some reviews indicate that the latch on the tether strap disengages too easily. I do not agree. I suspect these reviewers are using the tether for other purposes. The fastening strap is not designed to hold the holster alone on the belt. It is designed exclusively for use in combination with a spring clip. The spring clip keeps the holster on the belt. The tether serves only to keep the holster tight (down) in the spring clip - in other words, it prevents the holster from moving up when the body moves, as the holster may disengage when pulled up from the clip. Belt. When both the tether and spring clip are in place, the holster cannot be lifted and the spring clip holds the sling securely to the belt. When used as I have described there is almost no pressure on the strap's latch - it stays closed. The design of the holster has been thought through down to the smallest detail. Except for phones with a very large protective case, I cannot understand the negative reviews on this product. It works as it should, holds the holster securely in place and the quality and looks are exceptional. For reference, my iPhone 6s is protected by the Scooch Clipstic Pro iPhone 6/6s (also available from Revain). This case protects the phone well but adds relatively little to the overall size of the phone (which is one of the reasons I bought it). It also has a great built-in retractable desktop stand that adds little to the size or bulk of the case. With the protective case in place, my phone fits perfectly in a belt holster (the phone can easily be removed for use or placed in a holster). I highly recommend purchasing this holster, especially the holster/guard combo.
