I just started embroidery and this set is perfect for me. I started with greens which were great for learning a lot of new stitches. In addition, it was a rather simple, but very beautiful design. I didn't follow the pictures on the back, I turned to YouTube, which was much easier. The cactus was my second project, this one was more complex and time consuming but doable. I ran out of yellow-green thread that was used as a patch on one cactus and also decorated another cactus. Luckily I bought a set of dental floss and found this color there. Now for the orange and yellow floral pattern, which seems to be the quickest so far! If I were to order for beginners I would say: Green Flowers (to better understand the stitches) Orange Flowers (quick and only needs 2 new stitches) Cactus Now I am completely addicted to embroidery and so happy I got this set to get started . Just what I needed in quarantine!
