Another Great Sangean Radio

FM Stereo/AM Radio The Sangean DT-200X is my first pocket digital radio. I also have two other Sangean radios that I use at home and a much larger Sangean portable. I live About 35 miles from WHYY 90.9 FM station in Roxboro Pennsylvania and enjoy listening to the station when I work outside. It is on the edge of the station's range. There are some strong local FM stations that are very close in frequency at 90.9MHz and much closer to me. Regular analog VHF radio cannot pick up a WHY signal due to interference from local stations. Sangean digital radios appear to transmit a clear signal when the radio's antenna is clear of local obstructions is blocked. The battery life of this radio is excellent. I've dropped it several times on hard surfaces and it hasn't been damaged. A dangling antenna can sometimes snag on what you're working on iten, but you can thread it through the loops on your belt so it doesn't get in the way. I wasn't expecting hi-fi sound from this tiny radio, but I found the sound through the headphones to be excellent and the sound through the speaker very good (much better than my iPhone). My only complaint is that I occasionally yank the radio from my belt while I'm at work. But it's really my fault. All in all another great Sangean radio. Highly recommended.
