It's small, be prepared. But less is what I wanted because I travel a lot and space is at a premium. Meanwhile, it still holds 98% of what I had in my old, much larger makeup bag. A lot of people say they don't need a front pocket, but I've had a few outbursts because airline employees aren't paid enough to take care of it. So I use a front pocket for metals (scissors, wire cutters, files, etc.) so they don't get scratched or rusted when splashed with spilled liquid.
