I bought this to protect my license plate from a car wash. Unfortunately, my car only has the top holes for attaching the license plate to the car, and the bottom of the license plate is not attached. The car wash brushes catch on the license plate and it bends. Attaching it to the bottom of my license plate keeps it in place and is a nice extra protection for the license plate. I've been through a car wash, no issues with the brushes bending the license plate. It pays for me to make it look beautiful.
