Exceeded Expectations

This was my first deep casting project and after reading many reviews of numerous products I decided on Incredible Solutions. All deep pour products seem to have the same negative feedback about slow setting times, but I think that makes them suitable for deep pouring. Living in South Texas, there aren't many days of the year that fall within the manufacturer's recommended temperature range. and my wife won't let me do it at home. I caught a day that was nearing the maximum temperature for optimal curing, but included a small fan just in case. It was a 1 1/4" round table with a 32" diameter. After 24 hours it was gel like, soft and sticky, after 48 hours it felt quite hard and didn't leave fingerprints but softened. At 72 hours I wouldn't say he was healed through and through but definitely strong enough to stretch his shape. I kept it on a flat surface for a few more days before sanding it. I degassed the original mixture and the final product was completely clear with no bubbles. I haven't finished the project yet, but it was a much better experience than I expected. Good product. Note: the ambient temperature at night was between 78 and 75 or so.
