Review on 💡 Bioluz LED 5&6-inch 75W Dimmable LED Retrofit Recessed Lighting - 3000K Soft White 840lm UL Listed by Jen Coleman

I used these to replace 12 year old appliances I had in my kitchen. I recently replaced the standard on/off switches with dimmers so I can adjust the lighting to different needs. At first I thought I would just replace the old lightbulbs with upgraded LED lightbulbs. I was using Hyperkon BR30 LED bulbs and they flickered at anything but full power so I returned them. the old fasteners and then worked as spring clips on the new Bioluz fastener. I'm fairly handy with my hands, but I'm not a professional electrician. The instructions and graphics on how these clips work were very sketchy. Maybe a professional electrician knows how these terminals work, but I don't. I think most people intend to install them themselves and they might as well as me, but they didn't make it as easy as I think with the right guide. The Bioluz mount comes with 2 "clips" per mount. Each is a thick wire with a U bend at each end. See attached picture. The slight bend in the wire in the picture is due to trying to insert it into an existing jar for a long time. Each wire clip is approximately 8" long and has a two coil loop in the center, similar to a rat trap spring. As it turns out, you need to bend each of the U-bend wires end to end, then insert both ends of the U-bend between the 1" holes in the clip in the old can, which looks like a small metal "C ". Once you have each end of all 4 ends of the springs inside the "C" hole on either side, push the new bracket up to lock it in place. It's not easy, especially the brain work. The feathers kept popping out of the plastic clip holding them in place, just like I thought they were in place. Very disappointed. That's why I'm not giving this 5 stars. They work great now that they're installed, but with some instructions on the clips it could be a lot easier. They don't flicker from full to low at all and I like that. You also look very good.
