I can't rate the taste as I don't eat it, but my cat loves it. He eats the pieces and everything. Yell at me if I don't give it to him first. I received 24 packs, I'm really sorry for those who only got 1. There will never be a better meal for your pet than fresh food, but as far as there is cat food on the market, this is one of the few products my cat has championed. He is picky about food. The only thing I don't like is that it comes in plastic bags so it's not good for the environment. Hope this review helps.
