I have Bushnell binoculars that I bought in 1985. They had a cheap plastic strap that broke a few years ago, so I improvised. I came across a 4-way adjustable Allen strap and decided my old binoculars deserved better. I also bought plugs to connect binoculars. The only issue I had (not enough to deduct a star) was the size of the clips on the strap. They are a little big so they don't fit in the hinge holes. While this is not a problem; I think Allen knew this could be a problem so they put some mini rings (like keychains) in the package. I haven't had a chance to test the strap in the field, but I've tried it at home and found it much more convenient than a single collar. I like how the strap keeps the binoculars from tipping over, it's nice and comfortable. I look forward to using this on my upcoming hunting trip.
