The wood is very nice and I'll talk about that below, but when we connected everything the middle part didn't work. Some people seem to have had this problem. We checked all the bulbs, nothing was clearly wrong. We didn't miss a traffic jam. Then we saw four cords with metal connectors sticking out from that part of the tree. We have never seen anything like this on a chain of lights. Sure enough when we touched the metal ends together the section caught fire! Apparently, whoever collected this tree forgot to put two sockets and light bulbs on it. Now we need to bridge the gap to keep the light on. We still connect them with electrical tape. Kind of annoying and annoying. But if anyone else finds that the middle section doesn't work, pay attention to the weird protruding metal ends (pics attached). Well, as I said, the tree is very beautiful. It fluffed up easily and looks very full. People say it almost looks real and I agree. The metal stand is very strong and the tree stands firm and will not tip over at the slightest touch like some artificial trees. I love the amount of light falling on the tree and don't feel the need to add anything else like I do with other pre-lit trees. The only thing I wished for from this tree was the ability to flicker the lights. In general I am satisfied with the purchase.
