When I first opened the box, I didn't like that it wasn't a simple try with no installation instructions, so no easy out-of-the-box installation. So I went looking for local car audio installers that had good reviews online. I found that Audiotronics only installs stereos in the shop and the other recommended installers were also a disappointment. Best Buy is too expensive and you have to wait a month to get an appointment. So I decided to take the risk with the install. I watched a youtube video of the installation and learned about the colors of the wiring so I can replace the old wiring harness with a new one. Electrical work done. I was lucky, I connected everything correctly. I'm glad everything works except for the backup camera because I shouldn't have taken on that challenge with a small '99 Toyota Tacoma pickup. Sounds great, DVD looks and sounds great, GPS has helped me find my way on a long drive although I have not yet mastered the mic reception as people I call say it's interference or can't hear me. I really like the Bluetooth connection, which remains in place despite the WLAN failure and has to be reconnected manually in the settings each time. Why does the clock stop on Chinese time, which shows military time, but the date is one day ahead? I change it all the time, but it automatically switches to the auto-set time and date. I love the performance and sonic capabilities of this product.
