After some searching and using I bought several of these car chargers. I know I travel a lot and I'm very picky about the things I travel with. They have an aluminum body instead of the usual plastic body and weigh significantly more. It might not be ideal, but in the electronics, good components and build quality feel solid, which usually means they're heavier. They also have real spring pin buttons instead of the cheap stamped metal that usually breaks after a week. I have both Android and Apple phones and this fast charge works flawlessly and doesn't get hot even when using both ports. I also like and prefer the flush design. If I leave it plugged in, the door/lid can still close, leaving it out of place and protected when not in use. This is my new Goto charger and I have put it in all my cars and in my work bag. I haven't worn them out yet and they go through many cycles due to my family's digital addiction and frequent long car trips.
