Contacts required, unlike my old Amp Research. Useful for pins but can be annoying.

Plus and minus pins. When used with my quad this is a plus as it is much easier to fit the extension to the truck when the quad is in the bed. That was almost impossible with my old Amp Research. But the pins can sometimes get in the way when installing and removing the rack. Just a few extra steps.
