Review on atolla Powered USB Hub with Long Cord - USB 3.0 Hub for Data Transfer and Charging with 4 + 1 Ports, 15W Power Supply Adapter, and 3.3ft USB 3 Extension Cable by Mike Larkin

I had my doubts about this hub as it only comes with a 3A power supply. A 3 amp PSU can't provide enough current to simultaneously power 4 ports at 0.5A per port and 1 charging port at 2.4A. The manual even states that 4 separate ports can draw up to 1.5A However, I did a stress test on the small power supply and its tiny 22 gauge wires. Tests showed that it delivers 5.268 volts when unloaded. Good sign at higher voltage. Competing test results: 1A: 5.228 volts 2A: 5.188 volts 3A: 5.147 volts 4A: 5.108 volts It's rated for 3 amps so it was amazing to see it put out a stable 5.1 volts at 4 amps. Got a little hot at 4 amps. So I'm impressed. I haven't tested the USB ports yet to see how much current they can put out. Especially at the same time. But right now I have no reason to doubt the claims.
