It is easy to use, I like how it allows you to set up multiple destinations so that if one server goes down or becomes saturated with logs then there are many more servers available. Also very flexible in terms of being able to filter through by different criteria such as time period etc. Sometimes we have issues where our clients fail to generate some types of error messages but those errors do end up generating output into other fields within nxlog which causes unnecessary bloat. If your logging requirements can be managed using standardised formats e.g. JSON this will help reduce the clutter caused when viewing large amounts of data collected from various sources (e.g., event correlation). We needed an integrated system to view events across numerous platforms and applications; otherwise the information would become unreadable because each platform/application had its own format and layout.
