I don't know what the manufacturer was thinking. If a person orders paperclips with very long pins to hold the pages, it makes sense to assume that they have a large number of pages that they want to securely fasten. Instead, the pins on it are flimsy, springy, and impossible to hold, and just as impossible to hold the pages together. What a disappointment.
