Look real; They are quite hard and not soft
One of our cats loves to steal and play with real bananas so I started buying fake bananas to satisfy his play needs and ours keeping fruit safe. The ones I've bought in the past have been soft foam that he ended up chewing on and had to be replaced. I bought them because they were supposed to be foam, but they are actually very hard, almost like semi-rigid plastic. They look like real bananas and can certainly be used for decorative purposes. Our cat has played with this banana and loves to smack it, but I think he likes the softer styrofoam bananas better because he can bite into them and carry them around. He can't do it with these.
