Even if you're a Hula Hoop Champion π it will still give you a workout. I'm 5ft 3in, I started out at 140lbs and my hips and stomach were hurting for weeks. But after a month I lost 3 inches from the waist and lost 4 pounds. It works if you're okay with the pain.
