One unit has a bad camera module causing each ESP to get very hot and not work properly. The other block worked correctly except that it doesn't work. Works with any of my 5V USB power supplies (even a 2 amp amp). I connected it to a desktop power supply just to be sure. It goes into shutdown mode when used with 5V. At 5V it still wouldn't boot and the current draw was below my USB amps. I gradually increased the voltage until it was 5.4V when it finally overcame the under-voltage protection. It looks like you need a higher voltage or turn off the under-voltage protection in the firmware for them to work. Other ESP32s have not shown this issue to me in the past, so I suspect it could be a design issue or chips causing it. Job done but I think more reliable, better value units can be found elsewhere if you can wait longer for delivery.
