Review on DEA Products A6766 Transmission Mount by Jordan Weakland

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As long as this engine mount works properly. Index price/value: 7/10.

About a month ago I installed four engine mounts on my 2003 KIA Specter. Vibrations were immediately reduced to a minimum. I understand how much better the car felt after changing the four bearings. I bought four mounts from the same DEA brand. Models: Front Motor Mount: A6767; Rear Motor Mount: A6765; Engine mount front right: A6756; Transmission/Engine Mount: A6766. I bought this brand after checking their website where I read that the company has been making engine mounts for decades. The benefit of choosing this brand was that I realized these motor mounts are made in the USA. Unfortunately it isn't. Some are made in China, others in Taiwan. It's no secret that most Chinese goods are of extremely poor quality. I wanted to avoid this bad quality, I'm tired of wasting my money on Chinese products. On the other hand, I know that such low-tech products are mainly made in Asia and more for Asian cars. Attached is a photo of the engine mounts. Hope they keep a decent time. At the moment the index "price / price": 7/10. I will post updated information as it becomes available.

Pros
  • Transmission and Transmission
Cons
  • Expensive
