We have pet beds all over the house, but they wear out quickly. Both Storm and Weezer are fighting for the spot. There's a lot of space on this rug, but after a quick look, little Wieser decided it was hers. It's incredibly soft and comfortable and made from durable polyester. Mind you, if you smoke, make a pass as it can be flammable (just a word of caution). The rug was rolled up and secured with two rubber bands. This makes it a portable mat/bed to put in the car. The cover of the rug is made of very durable fabric that can withstand many paws and scratches. Storm is particularly fond of rummaging through his bedding, but the bed is well made and should hold up. I don't expect it to last forever, but quite a while. The nice thing about the bed is that I can wash it. The few big beds we have can't and they get very dirty. I can wash one, but I have to remove all fibers from it. This one is big enough for a dog but compact enough to throw in the washing machine. If you have dogs, you know that just over $20 is worth the price for a quality bed/mat.
