Very easy to use. Simply turn on the receiver and transmitter and choose one of eight channels to work with. You can even combine multiple devices (each operating on a different channel) into one audio input by connecting the output jack of one to the input jack of another. For example, you could have a group of four sing together with just one amp input - no mixer needed! I have not seen this in any other similar device. The manual shows but does not describe. Very smart! The receiver uses two AA batteries, while the transmitter/microphone uses an internal rechargeable battery that charges with the included USB cable. There's even an adapter that lets you connect the receiver's output to a cell phone or other device with a 1/8" jack instead of the more traditional 1/4" jack you'll find on a mixer or amplifier . Amazing value for money!
