Review on Iwata 1 4MM LPH400 144LVX Gun IWA 5670 by Mike West
Light and efficient
Great shotgun. 1.4mm is ideal for hard substrates and sealants. I use a 1.3mm to spray metallics with an orange cap and this gun has no problem spraying candy, polish or anything either. This was my first Iwata purchase and the low pressure came as a big surprise to me. This gun works great at 14-18psi, with 14-16psi typically being optimal. This gun also shoots other caps best at lower pressures: 6-10psi for a purple cap and 22psi at high pressure for a clear cap with a silver cap.
