Review on Goal Zero Boulder Monocrystalline Solar by Gent Dobson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It could be better - solar and wind power

I bought this to charge my Goal Zero Yeti 1000 and while it works there are a couple of major downsides. The legs are fixed in size and have no locking mechanism. In principle, there is only one position available to you if you do not want this. When loading, I found the system to be extremely inconsistent. It charges but for no particular reason the input drops to zero then I have to "reset" it to charge again. I was expecting it to be a plug-and-forget system, but spent a lot of time making sure it was charging and making minor adjustments to the panel's position to get it to peak. The case it comes in is good, but not designed to be easily switched on and off. I found it works best with two people. It's HARD, if you have back problems, be careful.
