Does exactly what it says. Dual monitor, however, your laptop can be a third display. May depend on your operating system and laptop. It's a USB-C power transition, which means you can connect a power source to it as long as you have USB-C power. It's smaller but has 1 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort, 1 VGA. If you have the same cables for both monitors you will need an adapter but I think most people have VGA unless both monitors are new then you will probably want to use the HDMI and Display ports. Additional 2 USB ports for mouse or keyboard. It's nice and if you want to upgrade go to VT4000.
