Review on Premium Munchkin Brica Day & Night Light Musical Car Mirror: Crash Tested, Shatter Resistant - Grey by Josh Ramos

I bought this mirror to calm my restless 6 month old on our daily commute to work. After weeks of chanting "Five Little Ducks" to keep from crying, I was hoping that a musical mirror might at least give my voice a breather on the way to work. PROS: + The remote control is amazing. Suitable for car visor. It's great that you can turn the sound on and off from the front seat. (That's why I didn't buy the Brica Firefly mirror - http://www.amazon.com/In-Sight-Magical-Firefly-Mirror-Safety/dp/B00B7M7CMO - I had to turn it on from the mirror itself.) + Songs don't always play in the same order, or at least don't always start with the same song. And that's a good thing, because not all songs are easy to listen to (see "Cons"). + The light helps to see the child on dark streets at night. + It was easy to install and easy to adjust to the right angle. Many rear seat mirrors require some dexterity and something wedged behind to find the right angle to see the baby. The mirror has a slightly wider angle than many baby mirrors, so you don't have to be as careful when looking. Rotating the mirror, you can see the baby's whole body at once, which brings us to it. CONS: + A wide-angle mirror makes the baby appear further away (similar to rear-view mirrors - objects in the mirror are closer than they appear) and a little harder to see than a regular baby mirror. Not critical but I think it depends on how big your car is. The songs are ok. One of the songs he plays is very spooky, with gothic church bells, I+ I can't select a song or skip to the next song without turning the mirror off and on again and crossing my fingers. the same song.+ Light is of little use during the day. Also, it turns itself off after a few seconds. There is no way to turn it on and leave it on. I want Brika to create a remote controlled mirror with a parent controlled playlist. It would be great if there was a lullaby playlist and a don't sleep until you get home playlist. But I guess that's why we have a CD player, right? :) All in all a good mirror, great remote control, but the music is ok and that's why you pay 20€ for a mirror?
