I decided to try these because I got good reviews. None of the four cartridges worked. And they've all leaked significantly. I've had HP printers for 15 years now, I've changed cartridges many times, some other non-HP cartridges - never happened. The first one spattered (yes, I read and followed the instructions in the box. Worse, I spattered and ruined a few nearby objects (like a lampshade). But the cartridge still didn't work, so I read the instructions again and tried another one, extra careful, not a lot of spatter but still a significant leak. Luckily they are still within the return period, I am sending them back. PS in the instructions on this page but not the one in the box it says , lower the cartridge for 1-2 minutes, then remove the orange protective cap before installing.(Turn the cartridge upside down to prevent ink leaking!).
