I ordered this corner console to use as a TV stand, hoping to save space in my living room and still have a solid, beautiful piece of furniture. The traditional brown is a bit darker than the photos but still looks nice. As other reviewers have noted, it was packaged very well to survive shipping and took a while to assemble. I mostly built the console myself with no problems. However, the reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the difficulty I had securing the doors. The doors don't snap easily so you can screw in the bottom hinges as shown in the instructions. I accidentally cracked one of the components trying to do this (which I glued back together). I had better luck getting the doors in place by laying the console on its back rather than standing it upright and pulling the doors towards me and then screwing on the bottom hinge.
