I ordered these not knowing exactly how big they are. For size comparison, I took a picture of a sample along with a can of lemonade for reference. They are useful for students who have difficulty visualizing geometric solids. They have small holes, so theoretically you can fill them with water and compare volumes. In practice, however, this is almost impossible. Liquid does not spill out easily from a small hole and it is impossible to pour it out completely. Sand doesn't work either. So they are neither "easy to fill” nor "easy to clean”. However, they are much cheaper than wooden models and the ability to see through them allows you to hold them side by side with the surfaces touching and children can see that the surface they share is a different color.
