I almost didn't get it because of all the complaints about label removal, but I'm glad I took the risk. I did what they recommended - before removing the label, I dried it with a hair dryer. I did this until it got very warm, about 30-45 seconds at max. The label peeled off immediately but there was a little sticky residue. I put a few drops of Goo Gone on it and it rubbed off right away. The lid is made of durable plastic and the top handle is large enough to be picked up easily. The ventilation works great and when you take the lid off the plate it doesn't drip everywhere. Good product.
