Our GCC wanted to try this brightly colored staircase right away and it could go all the way around, up and down, so for the price I'm very happy with its size! I really like that it's not like most other wooden parrot toys. The wood is very thick, which isn't a bad thing, but it makes it harder for her to pick and shred heavily (like she likes to do!), but the wood is just right for her so she can rip without losing interest if she doesn't seem to have gone too far. Will definitely buy again when it's time for a replacement!
