This hair dryer is called "StyleScent" because of the feature that I think distinguishes it from other hair dryers, namely the "scent hole". This is a small, vented plastic piece that fits over the air intake grille and contains a series of scented balls, which blows out scented air as you dry your hair. The Dryer Kit contains three small containers of Aroma Balls, each containing 12-14 balls named Refreshing, Rejuvenating, and Relaxing. I put four balls in the scent hole and the scent was noticeable when blow-drying, but not overpowering. Plastic containers with aroma balls are packed in a small velvet drawstring bag. For me, the beads are extra, which didn't make me order a hair dryer. I can use them, but I won't miss them when they're gone. Let's get to the dryer itself...it's awesome! This is a powerful hair dryer, 1875 watts, with dials, not switches, to control both airflow and heat levels, giving you a wide range of customizable options rather than one or two high or low options. I really appreciate this feature and for me it's what makes this dryer different, not the scented balls. The hair dryer is a bit heavier than the one it replaced for me, but definitely not overly heavy. It just seems like a reliable device. There is a rubber ring at the end of the handle that you can use to hang the dryer if you wish. The kit also includes two nozzles with a flat nozzle, one wider, the other smaller. The cord is very long, nine feet, the longest I've ever had on a hair dryer. The base doesn't have a hinge, so it will warp over time. The product information mentions blue light for conditioning the scalp and negative ions for eliminating static electricity. My hair wasn't static when I finished, but I can't say I've noticed any real benefit on my scalp. With my very thick hair, the blue light probably didn't even reach my head! All beautifully packaged in a sturdy decorative box with a hinged lid. Tie a bow and you're ready to gift! I am satisfied with this hair dryer and can recommend it.
