Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Adonit Silver Stylus for Surface Pro X/8/7/6/5/4/3, Go 3/2/1, Duo2, Book/ Laptop - 4096 Pressure Sensitivity, Tilt, Palm Rejection, Rechargeable Pen - Made In Taiwan by Tommy Maynard

Great replacement/budget pen for Surface.

It has both advantages and disadvantages compared to the stylus that Microsoft sells for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book Pros: + It's cheaper. + Handpiece is not fragile + Strangely small Quadruple - Changing batteries is no problem thanks to micro-USB charging. that's not necessary, and mine was already hooked and bent a bit. - Peak pressure goes from no activation to full on heavy line too fast. For note-taking this isn't a problem, but for art/drawing it can be frustrating. you will have to feel it. - Always works (but.) Sometimes you have to hold down both buttons until you see a red light and then press the button to turn them back on. Normally, after the device goes to sleep, it needs to be restarted. This could be due to the terrible Marvell wireless connection that the Surface Book has. Taking notes in situations where the pen is completely lost in a fall (on a boat, on the edge of a roof, etc.). Art can be a little mixed.

Pros
  • Microsoft Surface Series and other devices
Cons
  • Almost never
