I'm writing a review on this case after a year of use (I'm so tired of the 5 star reviews people write about products they just received) . This lid fits perfectly in my lifetime deck box. After about six months outdoors in the Florida sun, the material on the sides faded badly, but overall the case held up well. After a year, the coating on the sides cracked because the sun had made the material weak and brittle. The upper, reflective and made from a heavier material, is still in great shape. If the entire lid were made from the same material as the top, this item would be a good buy.
