Review on Contigo JKF100A01 Camping Hydration 🏕️ Thermal Bottle, 24oz (1 Pack), Lilac by Chad Carter

I really LOVE the idea of this water bottle, so much so that I even bought a second one after breaking my first one. There are a couple of big issues that I noticed after using two of these for a year. The rubber gasket that prevents leaks is very susceptible to mold, I have to take the whole thing out and clean it very carefully to make sure it doesn't get moldy, even soaking it in bleach overnight. 2. After prolonged use, the seal seems to have come loose, meaning it's leaking like crazy. I'm not sure of the exact reason, all I know is that after a few months of heavy use every day on both of my bottles it started happening. The lid latch also doesn't work as well anymore, making it harder to close, it just doesn't latch as easily as it did to begin with. It also causes a lot of spills/leaks as I think it's sealed, but no, the lid opens at the slightest touch. Those are pretty big cons for a water bottle, but I still give it 3 stars because I like the overall design. (Again, I bought 2 of these, knowing about these problems). It can work great as your water bottle for work or on your desk that you don't throw in your bag or anything. Love how easy it is to fill, the clasp is easy to open (although now it's hard to close), the lightness and the color. I'll probably replace it with another bottle that sure won't leak but as long as it lasted it was great. I wish they would fix these weird design flaws!
